You can register to be on the notification list if a cancellation occurs.  Otherwise the EDE 3 course in Sun Peaks BC in February still has a few places left.

The EDE 3 course at Sunnybrook Hospital is a one and a half day program.  The first half day includes advanced cardiac applications including diastology, wall motion abnormalities, and valvular disease.   Supervised scanning in core and advanced cardiac techniques will be performed along with an opportunity to practice other core scanning skills with feedback from top level instructors.  Core skills are tailored to the participants needs and can include cardiac scans (PSL, A4C), IVC, gallbladder, basic nerve blocks, thoracic, and DVT.

Day two is a full day of leading edge applications presentations and hands-on learning.  Applications include:

Advanced volume assessment, U/S-guided ETT intubation and cricothyrotomy, rapid shoulder scan, testicular scan, appendicitis, bowel obstruction, advanced regional blocks, and advanced pulmonary scans.

A literature review of the top ten articles of the year is provided with online Google Hangout group discussions.
